Is this what that whole "cave diver" thing I keep hearing is about?

dunno
Yeah for a game that literally revolves around luck and dice rolls, it honestly didn't felt bad at all, there's interesting combinations of items and upgrades, and you can manage to have both a certain control of what you get, and some combos of abilities that feel very satisfying.
Mixed with a cool aesthetic, solid effects, nice sounds, and that laugh when you get a crit, easily a very good game.
This is so peak
I didn't know this was also on Newground that's one of the better game I've played on the internet!
Simply incredible, truly amazing, I am wordless, I have amazement, a masterpiece, like no other, the epitome perfection, the droplet that makes the sea overflow, the enchanting spell that charms us all, the napalm bomb to the fighter aircraft that life is, the ray of sunshine in the morning, the pleasing blue rock on my desk. So thank you sir, for this brilliant experience.
10/10 would get arrested again
This game has some charm, but I feel like it falls hard on some flaws that thug of wars games tend to have. In other words, at some points, or especially the end game, the game is a real slugfest, because you have so much money but can't do much other than send more troops and stockpile a large amount of cash you won't be able to spend. Units don't feel very diversified, and there's no reason to use the previous one once you unlocked the later ones. There's also no way to strategize much with how straightforward the game is. Straightforward battlefield, straightforward upgrades, straightforward choice of turrets, and straightforward unit behavior.
In any case, it still looks pretty neat.
Thank you for the review! I understand your reasoning. From my perspective, I tried to make the game a little more beginner friendly, as when I was very young I found TD games intimidating and didn't want to play them because of that, so I guess that's why some things seem a bit "straight forward" kinda. However I do think there is some strategy to late game! Besides myself, when I watched others play some people took something like 15 minutes at the last phase, while some others took like max 5, just depending on how they decided to spawn their units, in what order, with specific spacing, etc..
This games let's me express myself by making my OC's do the middle finger, I thank you for that, blessed be your soul.
I keep forgetting the "A' key is the Q key on my keyboard
Nice game, the biggest problem was that a lot of the card really were just "attack (number)" or heal, etc.
There's no real synergy, mostly just focus target one dude at a time. For example, the editor's sword and the big gun both cost 8, but the editor's sword deal 5 less damage. Throwing in the mix statues effect and cards with more unique uses could make things more interesting.
Otherwise, very nice game.
Gamer gaming, sometimes making games, then become distracted and work again 2 weeks after.
Have way to many OC’s for my own sake.
